Will the ejector work on the 1860 snub nose or is it just for the longer barrel revolvers?

It will not work on the Snub Nose. Please call the office (860)435-4735 to confirm which model gun you have.

Just installed on my Pietta 1860 Army Sheriff .44 (5.5″ barrel). Cutting the ejection port & re-bluing took about 3 hours. The amount of metal removed to clear 45 Colt cartridges was a bit alarming, but it doesn’t appear to compromise the strength of the gun. Not quite as smooth in operation as a Single Action Army, but being able to load & eject through a gate is an immense advantage over pulling the barrel off. Well worth the price.
