Works very well in my Uberti 44 cal black powder. I ordered the “Pale Rider” conversions. At first it didn’t work at all, the trigger would jam on the pull back, but after putting to halfcock I was able to rotate cylinder by hand, played with it for about an hour, didn’t force it and finally everything started working very well. Not bad for a novice, I may try the Pietta next time.

I ordered the Pale Ryder version. There is a little fitting that needs to occur with the Pietta Remington, and probably more so with mine because I ordered two sets for two guns and wanted them all to be interchangeable. I used a fine stone to stone down the bottom flats on both rings then stoned off some burrs on the cylinders. In all, probably less than an hour of stoning and trying….Then I cold blued it and they all work perfect. That’s four cylinders and two rings completely interchangeable. This is a very nice conversion.

I recently ordered the Pale Rider set of cylinders for my Pieta 1858 and I am pleased to say that by following the simple directions supplied with the cylinders, I only had to make a few minor adjustments using a fine metal file to get the cylinders to fit and function perfectly. Great product!
