These Konverters are for the Uberti Made Walker or Dragoon .44cal to .45LC. (There is a difference in the Length of the Cylinders. The Walker cylinder is longer than the Dragoon.) Please use Standard Pressure or Cowboy Action ammunition loaded with either Smokeless or Black Powder. These Konverters Can Also be Fitted to the ASM Guns, but There is a Difference in the Diameter of the Cylinder Pin, and Adjustments are Required. *Earlier manufacturers like ASM or Palmetto may not be good candidates for installation. Both ASM and Palmetto have different size internal parts and have been out of production for over 25 years. Check with our Gunsmith (865-235-9272) for more information.

What a joy shooting my Uberti Walker with the Kirst Konverter. Before installing I ordered a new cylinder hand & bolt so I didn’t have to modify the originals & installation was relatively easy using the supplied instructions. I have close to 1000 rounds through it with no problems & the more I shoot it the slicker the action gets. I’m using smokeless Cowboy Action loads & it is more accurate than my Ruger Vaquero….plus clean-up is a breeze! Highly recommend this Konverter!

I just received my conversion cylinder for my Uberti Walker. It installed perfectly! No tweaking or filing. I put grease on the ratchet and cocked it and worked it for about 10 minutes. It was a little tight at first but really worked in nice. I haven’t fired it yet but have pulled the hammer back around 100 or so times. It is perfectly smooth. The action is wonderful. I’m very impressed and happy. The fit is very nice. Very little movement or slop. I couldn’t be happier.

(Dragoon converter 2021 model firearm) works very well for the 2021 model I just had to shave down the Cylinder stop arm a hair to allow the cylinder to rotate smoothly. (Recommend the manufacturer to make the sliding points for the cylinder stop deeper.) Black Hills Cowboy Action Ammunition 45 LC 250 Grain Round Nose Flat Point (725 velocity) works really well with this converter after shooting they just slide out with no stick.
