This is a Gated 1858 Kirst Konverter with a New & Improved Ejector Assembly. This Can be Used on a .44 caliber 1858 Steel Frame Gun Only. Brass Frame Guns are not Suitable for these Calibers. Will NOT work with original 1858s.

This converter is beautiful. The ejector is equally nice. The design of this set up is top notch. Timing is exact, action is smooth. The Uberti shoots spectacular. I do have one issue with the firing pin, with either a collapsed spring, bur, or missing spring…but stuff happens, and the design of this system is so good…it’s still getting 5 stars. I contacted Kirst about the issue, and they seemed very polite, and eager to rectify the situation. I shipped out the back plate yesterday to be repaired.
My son likes my Uberti 1858 so much, that he ordered a stainless one yesterday, and a stainless Kirst gated converter, and ejector.
We are sold! I just bought a Pietta 1858 Sheriff…So Im gonna need another converter soon.
