1858 Stainless Steel Remington Konverter. This Konverter is for the Stainless Steel Reproduction Guns. Please choose .45Colt or .45ACP Standard Pressure or Cowboy Action ammunition loaded with either Smokeless or Black Powder.
This is a Gated Konverter, so you can open the recoil shield and load and unload without removing the Kirst Konverter. Professional Installation is optional. Because the gate is flush mounted, if you choose not to open the recoil shield, you can remove the cylinder each time to load and unload.

High quality gated conversion cylinder. I am using it in my Uberti 1858 Remington NMA, year 2018. The only adjustment needed was slight filing of the gated ring foot so the arbor can easily go through the cylinder. It was a matter of 5 minutes. Timing is fine, my homemade .45LC cartridges filled with .454 bullets fit the chambers easily. The 5 chambers vs 6 on another conversion cylinders is compensated with a safe position slot that is more valuable for me than having an extra chamber. I can not tell how long it will last but the machining is done very precisely and the 4140 steel should guarantee the long life. The manual is informative and easy to understand. The only con is that the Konverter is a bit pricey compared to the price of the gun, but I think it is worth of it.
